We also offer a wide variety of assessments, ranging from mental health evaluations to court ordered assessments.

Therapies & Treatments

At Fisher & Associates, we understand that it can be difficult to seek professional help for mental health concerns, and we work hard to provide confidential clinical services that put our clients’ needs first.

We’re equipped to work with patients of all ages, and we pay close attention to details in the effort to fully understand our clients’ unique experiences. Since our clients have a wide variety of needs, we offer multiple forms of high-quality treatment.

Stress Management

Stress management is a wide spectrum of techniques and psychotherapies aimed at controlling a person’s level of stress, especially chronic stress, usually for the purpose of and for the motive of improving everyday functioning.

Depression

The persistent feeling of sadness or loss of interest that characterizes major depression can lead to a range of behavioral and physical symptoms. These may include changes in sleep, appetite, energy level, concentration, daily behavior, or self-esteem.

Relationships

Couples therapy helps you develop honest communication with each other, create a mutually supportive environment and deal with the issues that might underpin some of the substance abuse behaviour.

Anxiety

Anxiety is a mental health disorder characterized by feelings of worry, anxiety, or fear that are strong enough to interfere with one’s daily activities
Examples of anxiety disorders include panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Assessment and Treatment

Psychologists administer tests and assessments for a wide variety of reasons. Children who are experiencing difficulty in school, for example, may undergo aptitude testing or tests for learning disabilities. Tests for skills such as dexterity, reaction time and memory can help a neuropsychologist diagnose conditions such as brain injuries or dementia.

Executive Coaching

We can provide individual and team assessments to help you identify and remove sources of conflict that get in the way of growth. Let us help you establish and meet personal or professional goals and build a path toward a brighter future. Start living life intentionally and fully.

Coaching and Mentoring

Service designed to support children, adolescents and their families in a collaborative effort to increase protective factors and prosocial engagement. Mentors are matched with the youth on an individual basis. Mentors often go out into the community to engage in various prosocial activities. The mentor will help the youth put into practical use his or her new skills learned from group, or therapy, such as DBT skills or healthy boundaries etc. The mentor will be there to provide support while the youth navigates new contexts.

Research has proven teens who are engaged in therapeutic mentoring are less likely to bully, break the law, engage in substance abuse or engage in self-harming behaviors, to name a few. Research has also shown therapeutic mentor is not just a benefit to disadvantaged teens but all youth can benefit from a nonparent mentoring relationship.
